I really enjoyed this book I love how passionate she is for God. I love how she expressed her feelings as a girl in high school trying to find herself. Great book for my daughter to even read.

This book is an easy-read and definitely not intimidating. It is simple, but it has depth and speaks to the heart. Certainly a book I loved reading, and recommend.

The book covers challenges of teenagers (maybe even a lot of us who are well beyond our teens) and how to win over them from a biblical perspective: insecurity, low self-esteem, comparing self to others, even being a victim of bullying.

As I was reading it, I could sense that the book was written by someone who climbed through a whole lot of mountains, braved storms, but instead of being stuck and exhausted, lives freely today and genuinely wants other women to experience the same freedom to be who they were made to be and shine from the inside-out. The book will help teenage girls to be more confident in who they were made to be, empower them to win their own wars, and inspire them to dream BIG dreams.

“The Star in You” was such a refreshing read! Claire’s honesty on her personal experiences made me feel like I was just sitting with her at coffee hearing her story one-on-one. I could really feel that she cares about each and every one of her readers and desires to bring out the best in them! As I read the book, I could think of so many young girls who need to hear this message. “The Star in You” is filled with rich Scriptural truth that I wish I would have had the privilege to know at a younger age! Every girl who reads this book will truly be blessed and challenged to step deeper into her walk with the Lord!

This book is beyond belief!
Something I needed growing up.
This is definitely a book, that I will be gifting other girls in my family so they can find “the star” in them.
The author did not hold back, from the good, the bad or the ugly. Allowing transparency into her reality growing up. Allowing others to see that they are not alone and offering affirmations to get them through those struggles. Very well put together, and definitely something more people need to find “the star in you!”

Wow, The Star in You is an amazing book for young women, really women of all ages. You can be 10 or 80 years young and benefit from the truths in this book. The world is attacking our young women and coming after their hearts and minds. The Star In You reminds you of Who you are and Whose you are. It reminds of of the Light of Christ in us. This is a great gift for a young lady in search of herself, or for someone who needs to be reminded of what is within them. I’m buying hard copies for the three young women I raised, and maybe a few more so that I have some on hand when the need arises.

This book has been written with so much heart. I love how its message zeroes in on one’s true identity found in Jesus Christ, and how understanding that reality is so empowering for one to live in such freedom to be who they were made to be, and thus, shine! I love that Claire has written it with such honest vulnerability, sharing the personal struggles she has been given the grace to overcome, in order to inspire others to live a life free from striving! I believe this carries a crucial message to trumpet especially to a generation today that’s so consumed with a “me, myself, and I” mentality that’s highly influenced by social media. I pray that those who will pick up this book will not only enjoy finding themselves dancing along with the Master Choreographer of life, but more importantly, discovering the mystery of Christ who allows their light to shine brightly!

This book a was an overall exciting read, I loved how Claire opened up to the reader about her personal journey through Christ. This book has really encouraged me to go deeper into the word and find myself and who I am in Christ! As a young girl myself, I believe every girl and woman deserves to read this book and discover their true selves.
